The camp included campus/housing tours, lab activities, guest speakers, a Diablo Canyon tour & afternoon at Avila Beach
The high schools represented last year are: Pioneer Valley, Santa Maria, Cabrillo, Nipomo, St. Joseph's and SLO.

Events
Aerospace Engineering
(Led by Dianne DeTurris) - students built and tested model rockets to compare performance for various fin configurations
Civil/Environmental Engineering
(Led by Tracy Thatcher) - Water filtration (creek water) & water content analysis.
Computer Science/Computer Engineering
(Led by Diana Franklin) - Learned about binary; programmed robots to draw like a spirograph
Materials/Electrical Engineering
(Led by Kathy Chen and Lynne Slivovsky) - Designed and built dance pads and solar cells
